Beyond words, elated, I will go to them for the rest of my life and recommend to anyone and everyone I care about . These people are so wonderful on so many levels. Their standards are excellent: sanitizing between every move, gloves, mask, fast, strong, abiding by every CDC regulation even prior to the current life situation. The people themselves are beyond words. From the wonderful guy I just spoke with who started the company to Jasmine to Megan and I am sure everybody there. They take care of you on every level beyond words. They are the one.
This is the worst moving company I've ever attempted to hire, they came late with the wrong instructions and then after an hour of doing nothing but moving a chair and a ottoman they said they had to cancel the job because we used powder on our bed frame as a precaution to kill any bedbugs because our downstairs neighbors had an infestation. We had an exterminator come twice and they found nothing but we did it to be safe. They said they couldn't do it because of the risk a d none of these things were explained before they took our money, but I'm positive they just made up a lie their boss because they didn't want to do the job.... I would highly recommend not wasting the money or time hiring lazy, liars that are overpriced and will bail with some weak excuse to get out of if it looks like too much work. Pathetic service and work ethic...

These men went beyond the call of duty and made this very difficult time in my life as calm as possible. Thank you for the kindness you have shown to me and thank you for the care you gave to my moms furniture. Be safe as you travel from place to place. We used this company when when we moved three years ago, they were wonderful, everybody was so friendly and helpful! I even wrote such a great review that they used it on their website. But, we used them again last month and I can not say enough bad things. Tom, who was arrogant, came to do the estimate and didn't get back to me until over a week later when I finally called. I was set up with Jackie, who my moving coordinator, she was nice and I'm sure it's not her fault, but everything I asked about was always met with a no. Everything is their way or the highway, including the times of pick up and delivery. Forget that you're paying over $4000, you wait on them and do as your told. I know they have their own schedules and things to do, but let me give an example. On delivery day, they told us we had to move our closing up from 11 to as early as possible, we moved it to 10 as that was the only time everyone was available. So they asked if they could get into the house earlier. We had our realtor go to the house before the closing (we weren't available til 9:30), so he went to meet the movers at 9:00. Well they never showed, we got to the house for our final walk-through and they still weren't there. We go to our closing and come back and STILL not there!! They finally showed up a few minutes later. But the worst part of it all is all of the stuff that went missing during our move. Our vacuum cleaner, a brand new bag of 36lb dog food, three baby gates, a diaper pail, our garbage can, shovels, brooms, my dad's tools and drill set, three boxes of food, etc. all totaling over $600. I filed a claim with the company, and they have denied it saying I signed the paperwork that all had arrived. So my advice to anybody using them, MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR STUFF IS THERE BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING!! Count your boxes, anything not in boxes to look for!!! And my best advice is use anybody but this company!!
I am very disappointed with Alexander Moving. If Joan is one of Alexander’s owners, then I am afraid for their future. If she is an employee, she should be fired. I just received a call from Joan about the non-binding moving estimate that I signed and returned. I made some initialed changes that were incorrect on the agreement. Joan stated firmly, “you can’t do that”. As a business owner, I deal with this practice routinely. Evidently it really upset Joan, who then proceeded to become rude, saying the agreement was from the Public Utilities Commission and then, when I asked her to please speak to me civilly, she then said she would refund my deposit, cancel my move dates and before I could discuss what could be done to correct the paperwork, hung up on me. I feel bullied. It is her attitude that disturbs me the most. And, this leaves me without a mover for my required dates. Based on this experience I would never recommend them to anyone. Just imagine if we went ahead, had Alexander move us and there were issues over the move, only for us to discover that this is how they deal with customer concerns. If glass was damaged during the move and I called to report it, would Joan get angry and hang up on me again? After this call I would consider it a possibility. I wasted considerable time and effort with Alexander. For Joan, I recommend a refresher course in customer relations.
