State College Moving Companies 2024

My husband Jason and I just moved during this stressful quarantine time, and Doug and his guys at Appalachian Movers Transport were wonderful! They came with their masks on and were So speedy and efficient about getting our furniture out fast. I was amazed. All the crew were friendly, respectful, and efficient. We were in our new home in no time with all the furniture in the right place. Doug was professional and friendly to communicate with prior also, and made the process so easy for us. I can’t recommend Doug and his crew highly enough for your moving needs. Small business strong!

Was a little hectic getting information about the move and its scheduling, but once the movers got here I was extremely impressed how smoothly everything went. I packed my own boxes so when the got there it was ready, they were able to complete the initial packing within 2 hours and then unload took about 1 hour. Moving crew were polite and took great care with my stuff to make sure nothing was broken. Will probably call them again when i decide to move from my current apartment to a house.

Our movers were Tom, Sam, Nick, & Jerry. They were very helpful, Polite, and hard workers. They showed up on time! They brought in 6 Huge boxes. Boxes Too big to get through the doorway, so they put them in the garage. They then offered to empty the huge boxes and move ALL boxes into the house. They were quick and efficient. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend and use them again.

I can't say enough positive things about Kennedy Transfer. First, Steve Kennedy who made an onsite visit and gave me an estimate. Friendly and professional! The voice of the Company, Melissa was like talking to a friend as she guided me through the process. A Plus! Then they assigned me an All Star crew! John, Carl, Matthew, and Hunter busted their butts to take care of my parents property. They brought a huge antique bookcase to my home without a scratch. This bookcase was no joke in weight and age. My biggest concern was the curved glass. With confidence they said no problem. John and Carl power lifted the piece with Matthew and Hunter keeping it center. A 140 year old piece made its 4th move in its lifetime without a scratch! I joke with the crew that it took "Men of the North" to get this property to its destination. 41broken items so far, even though everything breakable was marked fragile on 3to 5 sides, marked top and this side up !!! I even color coded each box to the right rooms. They didn't listen when I asked them to be careful and stacked 4 and 5 heavy boxes on top of boxes marked fragile !!! They even scraped wooden furniture into freshly painted walls. Very careless !!!!

Our tenants used this company and was quite happy with them. After doing a walk through of our home after they left we noted plenty of damage. Our tenants blamed EL Dinges for the damage to our new kitchen floor in particular and stated she bought insurance to cover it . After some communication with Dinges we learned our tenant lied to us and made false claims about the movers. Dinges did however came and took pictures and addressed our claim...kudos to them ..thank you
