Ok my experience with Zippy Shell started off great. The sales rep was great at her job. Since that point here is how things have gone. First, their logistics team was unwilling to work around my travel plans for the move which caused me to change flights twice (TWICE) due to lack of flexibility and miscommunication from Zippy Shell. After not only being told they could work around my flights but also that they can do the move on a Sunday, neither of those statements were true, I had to cancel and rebook my travel to make it work. Second, they finally figured out a set of movers that worked with my timeline and Zippy Shell was 1.5 hours late in getting the pod to the movers and to the site. Third, the movers were great (go Bellhop!) and worked hard to get everything done. The guy driving the truck was afraid the storage facility would be closed by the time he got there. He asked me to coordinate. This is Zippy Shell’s entire service, why am I coordinating with a storage facility and truck driver when this is their main service as a company? Forth, I get my eyes on the “Shell” to find out it is merely a cage with open sides, not weather proof or temperature controlled (as I was told). I was informed that the company would lock the “cage” which they did not and luckily I had a lock on hand before the truck left with my totally open, exposed and see-through “Shell”. Fifth, the truck driver pulled up to find the storage facility is closed at 4:45 on a Saturday. He is calling me to see what the plan is as he waits in his car. After calling customer service twice and waiting 45 mins, the plan is to have the truck driver keep my stuff until Monday. Where will my stuff go? How is it secure in this “cage”? Who is responsible for it and any damage? Clearly an unacceptable solution. Sixth, I haven’t heard from customer service for over an hour. My stuff is missing and in an unknown location, with a truck driver, parked in who knows where. The terrible service continues... let’s see what happens tonight and through the weekend.

I have had a unit here for over a year and I want to say it has been the best experience I have ever had at a storage place. the whole process, no hidden fees and the ease of access all amazing!. Most of all I have to say the manager Elba made the whole process smooth and always is there to help you in anyway she can. This type of customer service made me a repeat customer! Thank You Elba!
