On January 11 this year, they moved a building from Fredericksburg to a place past my Dads property. On the way they left a path of destruction. They knocked down fences, corner posts, and even sawed off a large set post at the bottom that had been there who knows how many years. They left the fences down and in ruins. This happened on every property along the way. They said they had every right to do whatever they wanted in the right of way (they don’t) but said they would fix it. Their attempts to “fix” were less than acceptable. In fact they were downright embarrassing. Avoid using these people!

I can't say enough how fantastic these movers are. They were on time, friendly, professional, and careful with all of my belongings. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving. Excellent service from start to finish!

I had a small-office move: two desks, four file cabinets, three chairs and some shelves. It was big enough that I didn't want to do it myself or task my employees with it, but I was worried about it being too small (or too expensive) for professional movers. Blue Whale gave me a very reasonable guaranteed price based on the dimensions alone, got me scheduled quickly, arrived and finished on time, and handled everything perfectly. I'm so glad I thought of them based on seeing their moving vans around Austin for decades. I figured that if they've been in business for such a long time, they have to be good, and they are top notch.

We moved across town -- it was a big move, and took 6 men. Everything was wrapped expertly. No damage at all! They were very careful with the hardwood floors. We had some very heavy items, and they did great with those. I will definitely call them again, and highly recommend them!

Hire them at your own risk. I had a horrible experience. When they quoted us they did not even ask us what we were moving even though we tried to tell them. They show up with only two guys, no masks, no precautionary measures to prevent spreading the virus. They tell us it will take 4-5 hours once they show up, and in 5 hours they were barely finishing moving the furniture even though we had already done half the work of disassembling everything and moving most of the boxes ourselves to prevent them from going over. When I decided to voice my concerns the manager and quality assurance manager decided to call me a list and would not listen to me. Worst customer service and the worst movers I have ever hired.

The crew worked well as a team. They ensured all belongings were protected and secure before moving out. There was misunderstanding about the amount of household goods to be moved — could have used another truck.

Had a great experience with scobey Moving and storage. Packers showed without delay, and were incredibly fast and thorough. Got our whole house packed in a day and a half. The crew was incredibly professional, and were pleasant to talk to while working. Terry, Yamiley, and Kelly, thank you so much for making our move smooth and easy! I’d highly recommend this service to other people.

I don’t remember the names of the 3 gentlemen that helped me but they did an amazing job moving me from a 3 bedroom apartment from the 3rd floor to my storage unit! And they saved me some money by not even needing all the time allotted. My grandparents used them before and I’m so glad I trusted them with my heaviest equipment. They took their time with my son’s heavy wooden bunk bed and my china cabinet. No damages or scuffs! So grateful for these men. Just wish I could remember their names.

I scheduled a move with Groovy Movers weeks ago for this morning, and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. No calls, nothing. Do not use Groovy Movers.
