My family and I chose Green Valley Moving to move my grandma from Staunton to Richmond and the end result was extremely disappointing. The movers stacked all of the boxes across the opening from the dining room to living room (nothing in bedrooms or the other living space) so we couldn’t get in to the living room and had to move a quarter of the total boxes before even starting to unpack. That took hours. We would specially give directions where the labeled boxes needed to go and they would completely disregard both the writing on the boxes and our requests. Upon unwrapping several large framed pieces of artwork, we found many had shattered frames and we ultimately had to pay to have them replaced. Valuables that we’d taken extra care to wrap and mark as fragile were broken, as were lamps and other items. This was the worst moving experience any of us have had.

Two workers for pick-up were right on time, efficient, and done in 25 min. with nothing left behind. Good Job! And my experience with those on the phone was equally pleasant. There was a glitch in the day for pick-up but that was likely on me, as I am not too adept with the computer.
