We were especially happy with their excellent communication and respectful accommodation of our needs. Move in was actually FUN. Penske in Essex Junction, VT from beginning to end of my reservation process, to getting the truck, to losing the keys in the snow to contacting Penske roadside assistance and them working with me to find a solution, to me finding the keys in the snow the next morning as I was shoveling my driveway and calling them to let them know I found them, and neighbors came to plow my driveway and help me get the truck out of the snow so I could return it myself, and last but not least to them being understanding and not charging me the extra day because of the snowstorm and the mishap with the keys because of the storm. I am extremely grateful and appreciative of the efforts of Penske Customer Service, Penske roadside assistance, and Penske of Essex Junction, especially Thomas Powers & Taya Gollsneider, for their professionalism, kindness, caring, understanding and patience with me through all this. I greatly appreciate everyone who helped and everything they did.

I have the best little girl

Lee helped us move from our long time home in Vermont to North Carolina. We had packed ourselves up and had our belongings in storage. Prior to the move he met us at the facility to size up the job. Lee picked up our stuff and drove it down. Everything arrived intact and un-damaged. Lee’s rate was 30% less than a traditional moving company and included a notable discount for being retired educators. His quoted rate was what we paid him; no changes or surprises. Our agreement was a handshake deal (no signed contracts) and Lee was true to his word in every aspect of the move. We highly recommend Spartan Movers of Vermont based on our positive experience with the company! Honesty and simplicity mean a lot these days. Lee provides all of this.

Very tight corners for getting a bigger vehicle around, otherwise,clean

Thought everything was going well, but when we arrived we realized 2 of our screens were cracked beyond use, and several electronics scratched or no longer working. Worse, they stole cash we had stashed away, and we did not realize until we went to unpack and realized all of it was missing.

Benjamin and his staff were awesome to deal with and catered to all my needs.
They were very very professional in carefully moving all my stuff out of my townhouse and moving things into my new place, piece by piece.
