Not impressed. When the movers came to load the truck they found several items that were behind boxes that didnt get packed at all by this packing company! Very disappointed.
I've worked with Reliable Moving twice now and I'll hire them again if I move a 3rd time. Their crew was very positive, we didn't hear one complaint during the long and very cold day. The crew worked so well together like a well-oiled machine. They were efficient and thorough. The movers treated our belongings with care and brought blankets and stretch wrap to protect furniture and artwork, etc. The team brought runners to protect our floors, but I would still advise homeowners to be watchful that the movers are moving things along the runners because they won't put runners across the entire flooring (and I wouldn't expect them to). Our point-of-contact, Ben, who coordinated our move was super responsive to all my inquiries and was also flexible when we needed to reschedule our moving date. I feel that for the work these guys did, the cost was reasonable & competitive. Personally, we choose to also tip our movers when they demonstrate a good work ethic (this is pretty common by the way) and those guys all earned a great tip!
When I decided to make a move from Port Orchard WA to Honolulu HI, I chose Spaeth Transfer, not only because it is the agent for Allied Van Lines, but also responsiveness and professionalism that Steve demonstrated, made me feel that I can rely on him to handle my household goods. Items were stored in their warehouse in Bremerton until I found forever home. During this period, every time when I had question or concern, Steve, Jessica, and Jenay all dealt with me consistently pleasant, courteous, and timely manner, and their answers were always very clear for me to understand how freight forwarding works. When I finally informed them my new address, it went fairly quickly, and arrived here in Honolulu much faster than normal transit period. I thought initial packing team was a bit rough side, but all my household goods arrived here in tact and good condition! Thanks to Spaeth Transfer!
NON PROFESSIONAL HORRIBLE LACK OF SERVICE LEFT US HIGH AND DRY. The owner Mike showed up and admitted he was not prepared to move us when we had previously talked with him on the phone to set up service for a last minute move. He assured us it would not be a problem and gave us a quote for moving our office furniture and storage. He arrived on the day of the move at the building to move us and told us he did not have the equipment to move us as he said his truck would not clear the loading dock entrance. They said they were going to look into getting a smaller truck and just left. Phone calls and texts message were not returned. Leaving us with no moving truck or storage. This ended up being a blessing as we found an incredible company called People Movers on a last minute call which ended up being faster and cheaper than what we were quoted with Mike. When People Movers arrived the next day they had the same size truck and they were able to clear the loading dock and load up and move our furniture to a place that is providing temporary storage of our office furniture for FREE.
This was hands down the absolute BEST moving experience I've ever had. I reached out to three moving companies for bids. On The Go responded within minutes! At first I thought it was an auto-responder, but it wasn't. It tool 2-3 days to hear back from the others. These guys are responsive, professional, and crystal clear in their communication on price, process, and scheduling. Skot did an exceptional job setting expectations, answering my questions, and even shared some tips on how to prepare to save us time and money. I received additional communication leading up to move day to confirm the appointment which I really appreciated. Four professional, sharp looking guys, arrived on time and ready to go. They took exceptional care of our belongings throughout the entire move. Not a single scratch on anything, not a single mark on the walls at either location, nothing. I don't even know how that's possible! But they did it! I've moved several times with a similar amount of stuff, and On The Move completed the move 3 hours faster than any move I've ever done. Absolutely blown away by this exceptional customer experience from start to finish. I will be referring you guys to everyone I know!
