I came on here to write about my regretful experience with this moving company from start to finish, only to find everyone else said pretty much the same things.
It started out with a bad quote. No one confirmed my details. And I never got a call from the driver or the company. I reached out twenty four hours before I was supposed to get a call from the driver, Only then did everyone realize my phone# was wrong. The driver told me he couldn't come back. He was already too far away. Only to call a little bit later and say that he had to come back for us and 'was gonna make it work'.
Apparently the next morning, 230am my time in AZ I got a phone call saying I owed almost 4,000 more than my original estimate. I told them to just leave and I would find somebody else. They negotiated for over two hours, and I still had to pay an extra amount that was ridiculous while everyone kept reiterating how much favors they were doing for me
They ridiculousness off favors came from all of my broken and mangled things. From the looks of the reviews on here. A claim is going to be fun. I probably have at this point over $500 in damages. And I haven't even started unpacking the bulk of it. This was the biggest regret of my life and a huge waste of money. I sent a pod for the first half of my things for a fraction of the price and nothing was broken upon arrival. (MD to AZ) I cannot recommend getting yourself a pod and skipping this moving company altogether.

Absolutely horrible customer service from this new employee Anthony. Called to say the unit wasnt cleaned out, I let him know im out of town and cannot get it done today but will send someone .. Well when I got someone to go a few hours later, he had the unit LOCKED ALTHOUGH im paid up til the 20th! Then sends a threatening email 3 hours after the office is closed to say they will continue charging me until im sent to collections .. Well tell me Anthony, how am I to clean it out WHEN YOU LOCKED ME OUT ALTHOUGH IM
PAID UP !?!? Worst ever experience with this new company who now hired this guy .
Did a great job quick and easy
Our kitchen flooded and we needed to remove our belongings from the kitchen and put them in the adjacent room. The insurance company allocated $400 for the work and we received a bill for $2900 from Better Box for our tiny kitchen. We were on the hook for the rest of the money. I will not be using their services in the future.
I have been going to the Ina Road location for over 20 years. It has always been a great experience. And this last rental experience was seamless. I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes. The gentleman that was taking care of me was extremely pleasant and helpful. Some of the best customer service I have received in a very long time. Thank you.
