the items were held hostage until we forked over more money than the original agreed upon amount that on top of them being 30 minutes late! And wanting to be paid in full before they even let us see the items. That paired with the fact that the driver was threatening my Grandmother who is well into her sixties in front of my three-year-old son yelling .... And then after we went ahead and paid him the extra money because we just figured that it was not worth dealing with the threats . They unloaded several boxes and just put them in random rooms even after we told them that the boxes were clearly labeled and they needed to go somewhere else they told us originally they were just putting stuff in the open areas and after they put the beds up they would put everything where it is supposed to go. Well before they even got all the items inside the house the original man who is a yelling at my grandmother decides to come in and just start screaming at everyone to put everything down and informed all of the workers that they were leaving right this minute and to not continue to put things in the bedrooms or even inside of the house..... I will say that the individual workers that we dealt with were amazing people and were nothing but polite but the boss was a horrible person and I hope to never do business with him again.
S&M Moving created the worst moving experience ever. 30% of my items were missing by the time they arrived at the final destination. After months of back and forth, their insurance had agreed to cover only a small portion of my looses. Everyone up the management stack is unprofessional. Use them at your own risk.
I just wanted to drop a quick note to tell you that the move yesterday went great, and that your team was wonderful. They were exceptionally polite, professional, and efficient. Additionally, they treated both our old home and our new home as if they lived there. They handled everything with care and left the homes as tidy as they found them. Great moving service. I would recommend again. They were on time, treated my stuff with care, and worked really hard. Pricing was transparent and it ended up costing me what they estimated it would. What else could you ask for from movers?
I hate moving. There is nothing worse than packing up everything you own and having to move it somewhere else. All Star Movers made a really unnerving move - namely closing on a home in the middle of a pandemic - sooo much easier. Literally, without them I think I just may have lost my mind. First rate organization throughout. VERY thankful I found them. Word to the wise - (especially if it's been several years since you last moved), start decluttering about 3 weeks before you start packing. With the junk gone, packing will be light years easier. Thank you, All Star Movers. You guys are awesome!

This company has left me stranded without my vehicle for over a month. Booked a transport from east to west coast & vehicle sat there with no calls, updates, or action from this company. Called several times to find out when they'd be picking up my vehicle & I got nowhere each time. Also, it took them way too long to issue me a refund (after 2-3 calls). Unless you live in a major city (which may have resulted in a transport), save your money & the hassle.
