To move our household ourselves was too overwhelming. To take some of the pressure off of us we decided to use Motherlode Van and Storage. After getting about quotes from 5 moving companies and because I had previously done work with MLVS we decided to use their services. The crew as professional, punctual and careful with the contents. I would highly recommend Mother Lode Van and Storage to anyone in need of private or Business relocation. The entire team from owners to office staff, movers, drivers and others will meet or exceed your expectations.

Roni was awesome! She came to my home to do an overview of all my belongings and car. The flexibility of this company, especially during COVID, was amazing. I reached out to Roni way more than I’m sure she is compensated for, and every time she was so pleasant and willing to work magic for me! Her customer service and willingness to help is top notch. My movers, Steve and his crew, were just the same. They packed everything up that they were suppose to in a quick and organized manner. The same process stood when they delivered everything; unpack and put in place! Remind you my move was from CA to FL. Not one item missed or broken. I will forever uses Colonial and Allied Van Lines for any moves I need to make.

They arrived on short notice and helped us move heavy things. Very nice, polite, professional demeanor and really good at moving heavy furniture with stuff still inside the drawers and angling it so they didn't dent or scrape stuff. They got it done in a short span of time and really helped my mother out!

Ernie's crew was prompt and professional. They communicated well with us and each other as the move progressed. They were very accommodating and set up at the other end went very well. I have already referred a friend.

I hired Make Your Move to move my mother's furniture from her assisted living facility to a storage facility in a nearby city. The two workers who came to do the work were amazing. They were very courteous, worked quickly, and were very careful with our belongings. They were just as fast unloading. I was amazed that they finished the whole move in only two hours. I highly recommend this company.

Chris Higdon is a TRUE professional and I would highly recommend this moving Co. Due to unforeseen escrow and COVID issues—our move/loan was delayed multiple times. Every single time, Chris would cooperate with us. He was also very responsive, quick and kind. Moving is a terrible and stressful time, but he made us feel better the whole way and especially with our fragile items (memories, piano, fridge...). Also very honest and competitive pricing. We moved locally within El Dorado Hills. Scheduling was easy. They were very accommodating for our requests. The crew came in on time, they were very efficient, they handled our furniture with care- no damage to our furniture or walls. The crew of 4 had great attitude and work ethics. We moved many times and were never this impressed with a moving crew before! We highly recommend Tony’s Sons moving company for all moving needs.

We have used Chipman twice and each time they have been great! Friendly and hard working crews! They actually helped repair a bed frame that had been put together incorrectly by another company, above and beyond in my opinion. Teresa Gallican was our move coordinator both times and she is great. Totally recommend this company.
