Summit Moving Services LLC provided outstanding customer service. A very professional, humble, and experienced team arrived and we went through the whole process. We even shared a few laughs during the process. The team made sure to be delicate with our very old, and very heavy furniture. These professionals had no problems moving us from one 3 story apartment to another 3 story apartment, which I am very greatful for. Matt was the first to answer out of the 5 companies we contacted. He truly helped ease the stress that moving causes and even stayed in touch until the actual moving day. I will see your team again in the future. Thank you for going above and beyond during these troubling times.
This is the worst company. DO NOT USE THEM. They estimated my move at $1500, when everything was loaded onto the truck they told me it was $4300. I had no choice to sign otherwise they were going to take all of my stuff off the truck. I had a one bedroom apartment, minimum things. They lost my dresser mirror, my ottoman, two boxes and my mattress. I was able to recover the mattress but everything else is gone. They stopped answering my calls, they even accused me of lying about my missing items! Terrible service and a terrible company. Do yourself a favor and please, please, pick ANYONE ELSE. Now I’m stuck with a $4300 bill. I still haven’t received my items. When I went to claim my missing items for payment that were worth almost 2k, they only offered me $40. Again, terrible company.
Had a horrible experience with this moving company. They were hired to move us, but we had a change of destination on the date of move, instead of taking it to their storage facility (the distance was approximately the same). The movers said they could not get a hold of their supervisors because it was a Saturday. I called the corporate line and they tried to get a hold of the supervisors and could not; although they got a hold of two other people in the company at different locations who offered to help. I said as long as it was delivered Tuesday I was good, and the movers were asked to hold the truck and not unload it. Messages were left; corporate was contacted; I thought everything was good. Tuesday morning they did not return my calls (this location), and we had to head over to the office. The truck was already unloaded!! Nice way to make some extra bucks!! The manager, David, was rude and extremely unfriendly to me and just stated they were not open on weekends and gave no further comment. If they aren't open on weekends, why do they have workers out? What would happen if a worker got injured; how would they get in touch with a supervisor? This made no sense to corporate or anyone else. I did find the manager of the Denver location to be quite the opposite -- friendly and good customer service skills -- he called me back on Saturday and profusely apologized, so it does not seem to be a company-wide issue, but just this location. Now I'm getting a 1740 bill on top of an already very high bill from this company. Not happy.
