Heard about them word of mouth, and they exceeded my expectations. Punctual , efficient, professional, and friendly. All you should expect, but often not received. I enthusiastically recommend them.

Late, overcharged and then the mover tried to scam me. Just get the actual price upfront.

The movers were very polite but they didn’t have the proper equipment to move my furniture. They informed me they usually have an extra guy but it was only two of them. I was also informed they had a better truck With better equipment but it was in use at the time. They were not prepared for the move. It took 3 hours to load half of an one bedroom apt. I paid for 5 hours and I had to get my family and friends to move the rest of my furniture. The truck had more than enough space to fit my whole apartment but it would’ve taken them twice as long because they didn’t have the help or proper equipment for heavy duty furniture.

I recently hired Metro Moving to help with my move earlier this month based on the recommendation of a friend and am happy to report that they did a great job! The two guys moving my furniture could not have been nicer and even navigated the steep stairs of my old apartment with all my furniture safely. I would definitely hire Metro Moving again and recommend them to anyone else in need of moving services in the New Orleans area.

I was getting frustrated trying to find a company to do a small to medium move this spring from one apartment to another nearby. Online, there were dozens of companies, but many wanted to quote online with no home visit; didn't have "branded" trucks with their name on them; and wanted money down before the move and without anything in writing. These were all reg flags that I couldn't ignore. Then on the BBB site (which alone wouldn't be enough to hire a company) I saw Lee Moving was associated with a national moving company I recognized. So I called them, and everything fell into place. The young woman came to my home, gave an estimate way below what I paid 2 years ago to move the same stuff; said they wrapped furniture and did it all in the 4 or 5 hours she estimated it would take. Everything they said they would do, they did. It took less time than estimated, so they charged me less. AND with the virus approaching in March, they agreed twice to change my April date earlier into March to get done before things got to the "stay at home" point. I would use them again.

Big Boy Movers was outstanding! Professional! They also assisted with our junk removal prior to them moving us. The movers themselves were extremely professional. They made things happen . Things that I thought they'd never get through the door they did. If I move again either office or home they will be my first call.

From the first phone call with Nick to the last of the crew with Marlon, I couldn’t have asked for a better moving company.... and this was during one of the most difficult times in our country (virus)! They were courteous, efficient and professional! Hard workers who never stopped working Hell I had to make them take a break for water. I will always recommend and use this company!!!

Highly recommend these movers...Donnie and his moving associate were hardworking and very diligent! Cleared our home in 2 hours and took very good care of our belongings while packing the U-Haul.
