RED FLAGS!! I called 1-800-PACK-RAT twice to inquire about moving rates and logistics. The first woman pressured me for personal information & then dumped me into a voicemail while I was in mid sentence. The second woman pressured me to book a pod before I could finish asking my questions. She couldn't account why their truck driver requires 9 business days to transport my contents 1,000 miles. Rudeness and arrogance at the original point of service & before signing an agreement is a BIG RED FLAG and a BIG NO GO!!

The owner has been rude to me every time I have ever gone into this location. She acts like I'm bothering her to just get a propane tank filled. That's ok, I'll take my business somewhere else
The two men who delivered my container were awesome. One of them I learned it is his first day on the job (he said his first initial is H) and he was amazing at soaking in the knowledge while he was being trained. I believe the one training him was named Frank and not only was he awesome at placing my container in the most difficult driveway to maneuver he was wonderful with his role as a mentor. Y'all definitely have some really great people working for you.
How many ways can I say horrible! Every single step of this horrendous process was one inept handling after another. How I wish I had paid $9k to go elsewhere. First, my order was improperly documented more than 4 times. it was never explained that I needed to hire someone to move the units from the U-haul facility to my destination. Then when my Moving Help arrived, after confirming the Ubox pickup, they were denied and were told by U-haul there was no order. The next day Moving Help arrived at 10 am and had to wait 5 hours, yes 5 hours due to U-haul system being down. They finally loaded the U-boxes and when trying to load my items at my storage facility, one of the boxes was broken. It had to be a known issue by U-haul who did not bother to repair the box before hand and should have given us one that was undamaged to begin with. Due to the incompetence at the Glen Burnie, Md location, we did not have any confidence they would properly handle our items and we were told we could not have the U-boxes go to another drop off location due to the transport truck being scheduled to pick up the boxes the next day (Friday). Several calls were made to the Md location and the manager Allison/Alicia was never available and always not around. When we checked the status of the pick up Friday, Saturday and Sunday, our items had not left the U-Haul facility. Finally, they were moved on the following Monday. We arranged for Moving Helpers on the U-Haul site to pick up the U-boxes at the destination facility in Texas. The Moving Help company took our $383 without a pay code, cancelled the order with no notice and now we have to fight to get our money back. We had to pay $429 to hire another Moving Help company to move our U-boxes to our storage unit. This whole ordeal was the WORST experience I have ever had. What could have gone wrong, did at every stage of this process. Not one apology or discount or any type of customer service at any time.
