I swore I’d never write a review of any sort, but after the unbelievable service I received from Preston Hughes and Bisson Moving and Storage, I was compelled to do so. I had a relatively small move of several items that were heavy and bulky. I wasn’t even sure a professional mover would even be interested. I called Preston at Bisson’s Brunswick office. He immediately put me at ease, listened while I described what I needed moved, and confidently assured me Bisson’s could help. Preston was most patient as I try to nail down a delivery date and time. I didn’t feel any pressure from him at all. Once we finalized that, Preston told me what to expect in terms of the rest of the process. Michelle from their office immediately emailed me all the documents I needed to review and sign. Being able to sign electronically was a huge timesaver for me. What sets the entire Bisson team apart is their superior communication. Preston could not have been more accessible and accommodating. Their dispatcher called me the day before the move to confirm the time. The moving crew called me the first time to let me know they were at the pick up location. They then called me when they were at the drop location. By the time I had arrived there everything had been moved in, neatly placed. Shaq and Jamie, the moving crew, took pains to leave things neat and clean. Preston called me later in the day to make sure that everything had gone satisfactorily from my standpoint. I assured him that it had. In fact I told him they had exceeded my expectations at every step of the process. If you’re moving, do not hesitate to call Preston Hughes at Bisson moving and storage in Brunswick. I wholeheartedly do not recommend using ABC Moving & Storage, doing business as an agent for Allied Van Lines, as an agent for North American Van Lines, or known as Allen & Coles Moving Company. I contacted Allied for a quote and in person consultation for a move from New Hampshire to Florida. The salesperson promptly came to our home to estimate the cost and outline the date of the move. He completely fulfilled the title of his role: he made the sale and assured everything would go smoothly. It did not. Although we had a signed contract and agreed upon pick up date, our shipment was not scheduled. I repeat: our shipment was not scheduled. On the date of our move we were told that our shipment was "double-booked" and there had been a mix up. From there, the communication was abysmal. The movers that did eventually arrive were courteous, efficient, and friendly. However, they were not surprised that my shipment was forgotten about. Our shipment arrived to Florida two weeks after the initial load date and three days after the agreed upon deadline. Moving is stressful, chaotic, and even the best laid plans, such as in my case, can be thrown to the wind in unexpected circumstances. I caution you when considering any moving company. Do your research. Go beyond the salesperson. Operate with your best interest in mind. Because this company will not do it for you.

We are an ex-military family that has have moved 20 times in a 22-year period, and have experienced all the perils of moving. From setting up the move with Josh and Jessica (a sweetheart, if you can say that these days), to moving out, and five months later moving in, the process was flawless. Seth and the crew were on time, packed like the household belong to them, and later moved us into our new home in record time. We had no damage and no missing items. A first! We moved a household recently, and were very impressed with Bridges Bros. Movers. I chose them because they had won Best of NH for their moving, and I was very glad that I did. Their team was incredibly courteous - it was a super hot and humid day and the guys had to walk extra far due to not being able to park the truck on a newly-poured driveway. Not one complaint - they had terrific attitudes. Every single thing they touched was treated with great care and deliberate consideration. They wrapped things before they were put on the truck. Even my all glass/mirrors curio cabinet was perfectly safe. They are "Tetris" masters at fitting everything in the truck perfectly. The owner visited the site as the move was occurring to make sure things were going well, which was impressive. They didn't give up easily when something wouldn't go through a doorway - just like magic the door was off and the piece came in. When I changed my mind about where to put a couple things at the new home the guys were so kind, and made sure I was happy with everything before they called it a day. My advice is that you get what you pay for - if you are looking only for a super cheap mover, you won't get the quality that you will get with a professional company like Bridges. They hire trustworthy, polite and very hard-working guys. I recommend them very highly.
I have used Noyes & Sons twice since moving to Southern Maine and I cannot say enough good things about them. All of the guys were extremely professional, efficient, and considerate. Hopefully I won't need to move again any time soon but if I did, I would certainly use this company again.
We recently moved and would highly recommend to anyone to use this company! We had a very organized move and the guys who came to help were friendly, professional and took great care of our belongings. Moving stinks but moving during COVID-19 is even more stressful. We were very happy to have the professional SAFE service.

I had nothing but a positive experience with this company for my move in December. Moving in the winter definitely has its challenges but from the very reasonable quote, ( which never changed) to the three men who hustled, advised, took great care with my belongings, and even l gave me some of their packing supplies when I ran out, things went off without a hitch. Joe, Al, and Darren were simply amazing to work with!! I highly recommend.
