Alexander Movers moved me last week. Al was my contact person at their office in setting up my move. About 2 hours into the move there was an incident with one of the guys and when spoken to about it he became agitated and got an attitude with me, which lasted the entire 5 hour move. I was so upset about this I called the office and spoke to Al about what was happening. Al kept apologizing to me on the phone. We hung up and I just ignored the mover and couldn't wait until they were done and he would leave. I called Al back a few days after the move and told him I thought I would have received a follow-up call from him or someone regarding my bad experience. He told me he would have the owner, Joan Alexander, call me. Well she sure did call me....immediately she began yelling, and I mean yelling, at me about what I said occurred with the mover and pretty much told me I was lying. Every time I would try to speak she would yell over me and just keep going saying it didn't happen and I was just mad because I was moving out of my house into another. I realized I was getting nowhere with her and told her I was hanging up. She may not of even heard me since she was still yelling at me! She behaved like a rabid bull dog, bullying me, yelling, rude, and off-the-wall unprofessional.... she owns this company and boy does she need to learn how to deal with her customers, not to mention needs some classes in anger management. I noticed another review a man posted regarding his dealings with Joan, and it totally matched the Joan I was on the phone with and unfortunately the two of us had an up front and personal glimpse of who she is as a person and business owner. Shame on you Joan. Get a grip. You told me what wonderful reviews your business gets, well obviously those moves went smoothly. God help anyone whose move has a 'bump' in it and you have to deal with Joan. Good Luck!

Do not hesitate at all in hiring them for your moving needs. From start to finish, they were as good as it gets. Very professional all around. Accommodating, friendly, trustworthy, efficient and hardworking are easy words to say in explaining them. Thank you for the job well done and will be reaching out to you again in a few months.

I've used Moving Ahead Services twice. I was extremely satisfied with my first move and second time around, I didn't even bother looking for another company. I couldn't be happier with their services. I got John's team the first time and requested them for my second move. They were extremely professional and efficient. Customer service was also extremely efficient and helpful. All around I've been extremely happy with this company.

Movers were professional and knowledgeable. Friendly and efficient. I was concerned because all the pieces were almost 100 years old. Treated them like they were their own.

I set up my move 1 month in advance. I was contacted a couple weeks after to see if I needed any supplies which I did. (they dropped them off for me and added them to my bill.... very convenient !) I received a call the day before confirming everything and then a call the day of as well. The 2 man team showed up on time and ready to work. They were professional and hard working. They moved all my furniture from one apartment to another (within the same building) in 2 hours !! They placed everything where I indicated and before they left they asked me if I wanted anything moved. I highly recommend Moving Ahead Services !

The capable team of Adam, Casey, and Leo moved this 5'2" piano with relative ease and great care. Like few other piano moving teams I've watched, they communicate fluidly with each one another to be sure they're always in synch. This was a completely stress free experience for me and I'd recommend them firmly.

I had 2 amazing guys today. They both were super easy going and moved whatever i needed, wherever i needed it. Great price too. It’s nice having movers that can talk but also get work done at the same time, it makes the stress and time go by a lot quicker.
