My REMAX agent highly recommended this company. I am so glad she did. I enjoyed meeting Candy, the co-owner who made my move so easy in the middle of the pandemic. She is professional, efficient, and detail oriented. The price for this moving service was less than when I moved into that house three years ago. There was a question about my closing date and Candy worked with me in order to insure peace of mind.

Unfortunately I chose you to move me less than 3 miles. First off you’re LATE and have no furniture pads. You knocked my wall! I had 1 sofa, 1 loveseat, 2 settees, 1 dining table, 4 chairs, 1 bench , 3 barstools, 1 King bed, 1 chest of drawers, 2 small antique chairs, 65 inch tv, 55 inch tv, portable fireplace and 7 boxes. You show up with two young men moving ever so slowly; so my husband and grown son pitch in to help you and five hours later you charge me $700 for what??????? My family did more work than you! What are you going to pay my help??? If you’re thinking of-using them ........DON’T!!!!!!!

Awful experience, and worst of all, were not willing to fix mistakes. Did not complete move. Horrible customer service. Did not fulfill obligation (out of 3 movers, 2 did NOTHING at destination because they had to watch their cars so they didn't get a ticket). I ended up paying an extra $1000 to fix broken item/ replace items that were lost...and I paid extra for the insurance!

I have used Student Services two times in the past 5 years. I have been impressed with the quality of movers as they've demonstrated politeness and respect as well as being careful with packing and moving furniture/items. Reasonable prices and efficient movers. Most importantly, it is a company with local roots and an owner that absolutely strives to deliver exceptional services.

Angel the driver was great to work with and his helper was good at the pickup location. Angel was on time for the delivery and unloaded the truck by him self since his helper failed to show up after responding the night before that he'd be there. The personnel at Dunmar moving where good to deal with. If we ever move again we'll definitely be calling Allied Moving again.

I called Mid-Atlantic because I had been dropped by Bellhops moving at the literal last minute (12 hours before our move date.) They called me back at 10:30pm and got us scheduled for the next day at 9am. It was amazing. They were so nice and timely. The movers were so quick but careful too. Honestly, cannot speak highly enough about everyone from the person that fielded our call to the movers that showed up and did such an amazing job. Will definitely be using them again!

John and Josh were quick and efficient. Very nice people, I would definitely recommend this company.

I don't normally post reviews but I had a great experience with this company. They helped me move a very large fish aquarium in a very awkward location. Instead of just turning me away like most other companies did. They worked with me to get it moved. Would definitely recommend.
