Everyone whom I spoke with on the phone was great. Helpful, willing to solve problems, and quick with answers to all my questions.

But the real star was Leelee. She had a stellar attitude, was patient and generous with us in a baffling situation, and was extremely skillful in her operation of her truck and her Donkey. I was so grateful for her ability to handle our tricky circumstances, and I hope she gets recognized for her outstanding performance.

I paid $4000 for a tiny home to be delivered here, and they email me while my tiny home was in transit to say my reservation had been canceled. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I am guessing my spot was sold for. I am calling corporate because the representative at the facility was so rude to me on the phone!!!! I asked her what are you going to do to resolve this? She said I will put you on the waiting list! WHAT A JOKE!!!

Extremely outrageous 'customer service' rude, disregard for customer experience, changes rates randomly and makes it extremely difficult to move units when advertising better rates... Cherry on top, now, locked a customer inside as their gate wouldn't work or open... How ridiculous

Horrible - communication was bad - never returned calls. Water leaks, had damage, lights never fixed, door going into our area never closed. Rates keep going up. If I could give a zero I would!!

I have mixed reviews on this move.

Pros: The lady on the phone, I think her name was Nancy, was very professional and made me feel confident about the move. She quoted me an hourly rate for 4 movers and a truck that seemed very fair for local move. She called before the move to confirm. The phone process really put me at ease that the move was confirmed and the movers would show up, etc.

Cons: The day of the move, the movers showed up on time. Took about 15 min to do paperwork. There was a little nickel and diming of the pricing for little things. It was a little frustrating, but not a huge deal.

The movers did put stuff on the ground to protect the entry way; however they did not but anything to protect the thresholds of the walls. Every moving company I've previously used protected the doors/thresholds.

It was also peculiar that when the movers disassembled items (entertainment center, bed, office desk, etc) Some of the movers would randomly hand me parts. He even stated, 'sometimes I forget and go home with these things'. Some of the movers packed the parts with the item. Its now a week or so in and I am putting shelves together, etc and I have a bunch of random parts to sort through to figure out where they go.

There was 1 mover that seemed to be the main guy and a second mover that seem to have some experience. The other 2, I think it may have been the first day on the job. Also, 2 did not speak any English and one spoke very little. This made it a little difficult trying to give directions of where items were going from the old house to the new house. Many of boxes, etc, ended up in wrong rooms, etc. Paying by the hour, I had to decide to spend extra time waiting for the guy who speaks English to given them directions or just decide to move it myself to the appropriate spot.

We did move into a 2 story house. The guys were carrying large items (large wood furniture) with only 1 person on their back. These items really should have had 2 people carrying up the stairs to prevent dinging the walls. It was just a little careless and dangerous.

Because there were 2 guys that appeared to be the first day on the job, the move took quite a bit longer. The newer guys were standing around waiting for directions from the main lead mover.

What was a local move that I thought was going to take about 6-8 hours, ended up taking over 10 hours. Of course anything over the 8 hours ( I think it was 8 hours) was charged at a higher rate.

Overall, the move was just really inefficient and overall executed poorly. At the end of the day, the items got moved. There were just a few small dings on some things, but after moving several times with movers, some of these things are just naturally going to happen.

The local move, with TIP for the movers (they did work hard, just not efficient, safely or with precision), cost me about $2300. I was expecting it to take less time and therefore not be as expensive.

I did like that Magic Movers had the option to have the movers at an hourly rate, (it saved me the trouble of having to itemize every single item being moved), but in retrospect, I maybe should have considered going with a different company and cataloging the items to get a 'maxim moving charge'. There was also about a half hour of fudged time between the start time and the end time. Not enough to throw a big fit about, but was just a cherry on the top for a move that ended up being a lot more stressful than it had to be.

I would definitely ask when you use this company, the experience of the crew that is going to show up specifically to your home. Also, confirm that the crew speaks a language that you also speak (helps significantly when you are trying to direct 4 guys on where to put all your boxes and items).

Absolutely Great moving company! I hired Magic Moving & Storage recently to move my parents furniture after years in public storage. I knew it would be challenging since they have antiques, heavy wood furnitures, arts and collectibles. I chose the right company because the movers were very careful, packed a whole bunch of stuff, covered all of their antiques with thick moving pads, and hustled quickly! Everything was delivered to their new home without any problems. The movers were clean, with uniforms, great attitude and very experienced. They were very kind, patient, and helpful in so many ways. They also took some items to the dump for me. Very professional, fast and courteous. They made it fun, never complained or took a break!! Amazing! I highly recommend hiring Magic Moving and Storage. We couldn't be happier.
