I've been working with John and Cody at Central State Signs for over the past 4 years, and was compelled to write a review after the last 3 jobs they did for me. The 1st job, Central States had made several pan face signs, w/ dimensional lettering on them, for a good customer of mine. Two weeks after the signs were installed, I had received a call that one of the signs was pulled from the brick wall, cracking the stud mounts. (vandalized) Central States went out and fixed the sign at no charge to me or my customer. The 2nd job was the install of a 24" channel letters sign. After the sign was installed, the customer wasn't happy with the matching of colors between the raceway and the brick facade. Central States took down the sign, brought it back to their shop, repainted the raceway, and reinstalled the sign that same afternoon. The last job, which took place today, was an order that I placed last week for an illuminated box sign. I had mentioned to John that my customer was hoping to have the sign installed by Oct 1st for their grand opening, but absolutely understood if they couldn't make that happen. I hired Alliance Moving & Storage for a local move of about 20 miles. After spending far too much time looking for a moving company and seeing so many awful reviews, I finally landed on Alliance and hoped for the best. The experience was about as perfect as a moving all your stuff can be. Getting the estimate took very little time, and the person on the phone was able to answer all my questions. Of the 4 estimates I received, it also happened to be the second best price (and was only marginally more expensive than the lowest cost quote). We had 4 movers and and a 26ft truck. Initially, when they showed up, there were only 3. I get it, stuff happens. The fourth showed up ~45 minutes later. To compensate for that they did not charge us for any of their own packing materials that they needed to use which seemed fair enough to me. It was impressive watching them work. They had the old place entirely cleaned out in no time, including dissembling furniture and wrapping everything that needed it. Once we got to the new place they put everything exactly where we wanted it and reassembled everything they took apart. They missed one tiny item that needed to be put back together, but no big deal. As far as I can tell, there was no damage to any items, and the move was the most painless I've ever dealt with. If you're looking for a moving company, Alliance Moving & Storage is absolutely the one you want.
