My son took All Suburban’s driving course and he now has his license. That was the goal, and that was accomplished. However, it was not an impressive operation. Specifically, the communication along the way was VERY POOR! The class itself was a lot of time spent waiting for other people to finish tests and quizzes and provided a captive audience for the instructor to tell stories about himself. That’s fine. That’s what most of us remember from Driver’s Ed. But try to get an answer to a question and you may not know what the real answer is! Before signing up I left voicemails and sent emails and it took a month to get a response. Then we got him signed up and I wanted to schedule his behind the wheel time. No can do. Why? They needed us to teach him to drive the car before they would do those sessions. Ummm…isn’t that the point of Driver’s Ed? They teach and we provide practice? OK, fine, so I asked if once we did schedule, would they have any daytime options for homeschoolers? No. Ok, not great, but that’s fine. (The other driving school we used for our oldest loved that option because then it left the evening slots for the public school clientele and gave them more capacity.). So we got several hours of driving in before calling back to schedule. When I did call back, I was told that we would have to go on a waiting list because they had too many students and not enough instructors, but that we would get a call in about 8-weeks. As we chatted, that employee noted it was a shame we hadn’t asked about the daytime hours they offer homeschoolers because we could have been done by now. What!? The exact opposite information I was given when I asked specifically. So we waited patiently and were never called back. Finally, we called to ask why we hadn’t been contacted and were told the employee who was handling that was no longer with the company, so they didn’t do anything with that wait list. Are. You. Kidding. Me? I asked if we could get all our sessions scheduled (the previous employee told me that as long as we had a span of 14-days we could easily do that) but this time I told that since we were at the beginning of a month we could only do 3 of the 4. Why? Because “it wouldn’t be fair to other people trying to schedule.” I reminded him that it was us who had been trying to schedule and hadn’t been called back. He responded by telling me he was the owner and those were his rules. After scheduling the 3rd session with the owner, he told me son that he felt he was good enough that he didn’t need the 4th session – which we had paid for. Sigh. So we did 3 of our 4 Behind the Wheel sessions in, but not in time for my son to get his license when he was eligible. We chose All Suburban because they were the cheapest option. This is a case of getting what we paid for. If you have an alternative option for Driver’s Ed, I would suggest you take it.
3/26/2020 I Strongly Feel, Midway Movers Cheated (stole from) my mother! Spend your money elsewhere! They sent an Unqualified Estimator who Low Balled my 91 year old mother on an initial Estimate that got them a Job! Once they Had her Possessions then did a Bait And Switch on her. They had not given her Written Information then Doubled the Price once they had picked up her furnishing. Also, Showing No Compassion in dealing with the then early stage Covad Pandemic, they intimidated her into signing for an additional $250 while waiting for Senior housing maintenance personnel to empty her unit based on Government Restrictions at the time. Not Allowing non residents into the City run Seniors Center. After movers left, she was sent an email saying the price was Now double, feeling Intimidated and Afraid to Argue she paid with a credit card. I'm her Son and she was Embarrassed that I found out how she was Exploited! Movers showed up at destination within estimated time. Items are Damaged and Missing and Midway Movers sent her the BS forms to claim missing and damaged items. Watching the new home being filled it became Readily Apparent that these people had No Respect for my mother's possessions. I watched one mover damage a Valuable Chest by just pushing it off his hand truck by himself. Anyone considering doing business with this alleged Moving Company should go Elsewhere. Great Chicago Name used by incompetence and illegitimate people.
This company was able to get my move scheduled when it was an urgent need and several other moving companies were available. Jose and his team were professional, fast, and took great care with my items. They moved all of my furnitures into a 3rd floor walk up in a quick and professional manner without any complaints. They took the time to disassemble and assemble my items. They even asked where I wanted my furniture placed once it was moved in. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them in the future.
These movers helped me have a stress-free move day. They were on time efficient and even helped me move stuff around when I didn’t know where I wanted it. It made my whole move a lot easier and I am very happy that my friend recommended H2H movers so I’m doing the same to anyone I know who needs a moving company!
Alex, Luis, and Cesar did an incredible job. They moved my furniture and 30+ boxes in under 3 hours. They all wore masks (moving during a pandemic is stressful!) and were very kind & professional. Everything arrived in one piece! One point to note - they do prefer cash pay over card. You can pay with card (I did, I couldn’t get that much cash on short notice with everything shut down) but they will let you know cash is preferred to help them keep their costs down.
I am so happy I ended up using USA Moving & Storage. They were extremely responsive as my move date kept moving due to a closing being pushed back. They called the day of my move to let me know exactly what time they would arrive, which was in the time frame scheduled. The team of movers were extremely efficient and wrapped all my stuff up. I didn't have a single scratch or ding on any of my furniture. Even my plants were in great shape. Altogether I was out of my old place and into my new place in 2 hours. Moving from a studio to a 1 bedroom. I can't recommend them enough.
Everything was great from start to finish. Quote was reasonable along with good follow up ahead of time. Day of was excellent. Had Andre and his crew and they were excellent. Packed everything carefully but efficiently. Cut move time in half but still did everything super careful. Not a single problem.
These guys did a incredible job with a 3rd floor move. The foreman, Alejandro was very good at explaining everything along the way, and Mary Cruz even called during the move to make sure everything was going smoothly. This is the 3rd time we have used Elite in the last 8 years, and we would definitely use them again.
New city was awesome! They were on time, efficient, and extremely professional! They took so much stress out of moving! While trying to schedule this move, during a pandemic, they were quick to respond to all of my questions and be flexible with my buildings changing requirements! I will definitely use New City again!
