Elizabeth Moving Companies 2024

This company gave me a quote that was $4,000+ less than two other national movers I contacted. And I attribute that awesome quote to the great customer service I received. Diane has years of experience and after I told her all about my move and my budget and after she did a virtual walkthrough, she used everything in her “toolbox” to bring that quote down for me as low as possible. I talked to her a lot (at least seven times) and she was delightful to work with. She knew the answers to all my questions and even taught me a few things about the art of moving. Diane took the stress out of my moving experience and I’m so glad I contacted them. Don't hesitate to do the same! – Leslie

Driver cut me off not a professional

This are the worst movers I have ever used. I moved from Carteret NJ to Elizabeth NJ (15 minutes drive time) on November 29,2018. The movers arrived late and ill equipped for the job. They promised a three man team and sent two instead. I became the third person on the team as I helped them move boxes and stuff to the truck. The supervisor promised to fix the issue but never did. To make the story short the move took almost fifteen hours to complete because not everything fit in the truck on the first trip and then the supervisor demanded a certified check at 1:00 AM the following day(move was competed at 2:30 AM) before dropping my belongings off on the second trip or he will order them to take my belongings to their lot.. The supervisor was aggressive on the phone when I asked the employee to allow me to speak to him. I ended up calling the Elizabeth PD who showed up and questioned another moving company supervisor who showed up just to make me fill a credit card authorization for in order to collect my payment. Their initial estimate for my two bedroom apartment move was $700.00 but I ended up paying over 1,500.00. By the way we slept with our mattresses on the floor for two nights because by the time they finish my daughter and wife were already sleeping. Friends came to help us set everything up.The supervisor I spoke with on the phone was not customer friendly at all. He just wanted his money. Some of our furniture was damaged as well.

Careful Brothers was amazing. They wrapped and moved everything quickly and professionally even despite my HILL of a driveway. Ian and his team were hands down some of the best folks we've ever worked with. Nothing in an entire house full of goods was broken. 5 stars all around. (and Chris who booked the job was great too)

Bingo moving company. They've moved us twice in the last 4 months due to some crazy landlady (a long story). Fabulous job both times and the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. I'd trust 'em with my life. They moved my sister and did a wonderful job there too. Happen to know the owner personally, along with his lovely wife and darling children. They are truly wonderful people.
