Ok but going out of business

Brad and Jesse came to move us out of our apartment. They were quick and friendly. They packed more stuff than I could have ever imagined would fit in a u-haul. This was my first time hiring movers, and it was definitely worth it!

We have been more than happy with their service through 5 moves now. This includes moving our mother as well. They have always showed up on time, offered solutions (like when we ran out of room in our pods, they offered to store on their site for a better price than pods), and have been patient with my ever changing mind on where things should go. :) We will always use them and always recommend. I also need to mention, seriously nice!

I called Cross Town Movers on Tuesday, they had a two-man crew (thank you Sam & Rocky) move my grandmother’s apartment on Wednesday. The move from Lane County to Douglas County from start to finish took less than 5 hours. They were careful, courteous, efficient and followed Covid-19 social distancing guidelines. They took a huge job and made it into a convenient easy task to check off my list. Thank you crosstown movers for all of your help, the many times you spoke with me on the phone, all the questions you answered, the speed in which you helped me and for being a company that didn’t make me feel like a scatterbrain may.

Junk would not hire

I just delivered some mattresses, but seemed like a great bunch of guys.

The movers showed up on time tho it went downhill from there. They were paid for packing and moving. Some stuff was packed, but the movers complained anyway. They said it'll take more than a day to the boss but told the customer it'll only take a few hours. Then the movers told the customer to get them cash as payment method had changed. They did not pack anything the arrangement was made to and did not use the covers. In between moving what was packed previous to them arriving, the movers decided to use the children's skateboard and football. The whole process seemed very unprofessional and frustrating to say the least.

Zero stars more like it. Our experience has been very poor. We ended up with other people's stuff, and some of ours is missing. Valuable things missing. And now it's not their problem, or their fault. James comes to your house to estimate, they didn't even do that right. Everything will be great he says, we'll make sure of it. BS! Once they have your stuff, oh so sorry, its going to be more money. Now they try to blame American Van Lines. DO not use these people to move your valuables!
