This company is worth every dollar you spend. The young men who moved me were so very polite and respectful. They treated my belongings as though they were made for royalty. Never have I had such a positive experience moving as I had with this company. From start to finish they were awesome. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for my next move. Can't even get them to respond to any of my inquires to schedule a move. Used them before in 2016 and loved them so knew right away when planning to move again I would use them. Emailed employee directly over 2 week ago. Emailed again through website to general inquires still didn't hear back. Called in spoke with a person who just kept putting me on hold or asking for information I had already given. Frustrating and unprofessional. Disappointed in the way the company is run now in 2020.

It has been over 10 years since I dropped off a riding mower for repair. I inquired about it over the years and never any follow up from anyone. I have made it a point to never do business with this "local" entity ever again. Plus, there are enough YouTube videos out on the Internet for repairs and maintenance for any type of small engines.

My husband Jason and I just moved during this stressful quarantine time, and Doug and his guys at Appalachian Movers Transport were wonderful! They came with their masks on and were So speedy and efficient about getting our furniture out fast. I was amazed. All the crew were friendly, respectful, and efficient. We were in our new home in no time with all the furniture in the right place. Doug was professional and friendly to communicate with prior also, and made the process so easy for us. I can’t recommend Doug and his crew highly enough for your moving needs. Small business strong!

The movers were on time, professional, and FAST! They packed everything that wasn't tied down, lol. They moved us in, set up our bed, and even dropped off some stuff at our storage unit. Very gracious and friendly crew.

I just read the reviews. I had a good move with them. The only thing that was broke was my brand new grill. Im calling tomorrow and if they don't pay for it , I would be happy to join in on a law suit. ALL moving companys lie about prices.. ALL. I will tell you to pack your tv, lamps pictures yourself. ALL MOVING COMPANIES charge for tape and boxes, They charge 50 bucks for a TV box, you can make your oen from Walmart for 6 or buy online for 20 bucks. DO NOT LET ANY MOVING COMPANY PACK YOUR ITEMS. Go to Walmart and buy boxes. I used this company gor my move to Texas, Im using GEO Vanlines... THEY ARE HORRIBLE... HOOOOORRRRRIIIIBBBBLLLLEEE! DO NOT USE THEM. They lie about everything. It makes me think I should start a moving business. Everyone scams. BUY YOUR SUPPLIES, THEY CHARGE AN ARM AND LEG FOR THE SAME STUFF YOU CAN BUY AT WALMART. They were going to charge me almost 300, Yes. THREE HUNDRED dollars for 2 tv boxes, 2 lamp boxes and 6 rolls of tape. Get everything in writting, in INK!! ALSO MAKE THEM COME DO A FREE ESTIMATE AT YOUR HOME. THEN THERE ARE NO SURPRISES. Good luck.

We hired Optima Moving for a local move and we were extremely pleased. The movers showed up on time, worked very quickly, and took great care of our stuff. They wrapped furniture thoroughly to protect it and nothing was damaged. I would definitely use them again.
