I hired them to move a bedroom set from our upstairs to our basement for a remodel. One of the movers was irritated about all of our stairs. He came into our home with attitude and making negative comments as soon as he arrived. I was honest and up front when I called that our home was three stories and even paid an extra fee for the stairs. They were NOT CAREFUL with our furniture at all!! We were left with gouges and scratches on our headboard and a drawer that no longer stays closed on our dresser! They also scraped up our interior painted trim! When they put the bed back together down stairs they didn’t bother lining the frame up or the supports underneath the bed or even putting the mattresses on straight. I was extremely disappointed in the damage to our furniture. I did call the office to file a complaint and was told I would be hearing from Al and I would be getting paperwork to fill out to file a claim. I never heard from them again. If you use them expect them to damage your things and to never hear from them again! I am sorry but this is unacceptable and I certainly will not be recommending or using them again!!
My family has a long history with Priestley & Sons so I knew if I was going to use a moving it company, it had to Priestley & Sons. I am grateful to have had the guys move me from one home to another. It was money well spent for someone who is a full time student and full time employee with children. Time is money. The guys treated my belongings with care by wrapping what needed extra protection. They were on time, professional, and friendly. Thank you Priestley & Sons for making my move easier on me.

It has been a very long time since I used the services of this Company, but it is better late than never! I hired these folks just about two years ago, to move both a home and an apartment in Gladstone, in the same truck, to one location. It was a long day, they began at the house, then picked up the apartment items and were able to fit it all in one truckload. We then headed to the new home in Redland, where it was all unloaded and placed in the designated rooms. spread out between two levels and a loft, with some challenging stairs and maneuvering. This was a team of three guys, and they worked nonstop, to ensure that we were taken care of. This was no small feat. They were extremely good at what they did, taking care with the things that needed attending to, and packing and prioritizing very effectively, utilizing all the space that we had. I was extremely impressed, and the cost was far more reasonable than any other company! I gave them each a $ tip for working a 10 hour day to get the job done. We could not have done it without them and their expertise. The team was Joel, Josh, and Anthony. THANK YOU!
I just want to say that we have used Bridgetown Movers three times in the past six years when moving. The last time was about three weeks ago. We use this company ongoing because they are hard working and professional. However, this time they broke one of my crystals and damaged the door way when moving from out from our old home. What made me upset was that we were in communication with the company about the damage and they stoped responding to us. They also had a small truck that we had to spend double the amount to do an extra load. The guys who helped us were great and went above and beyond but should have been up front about the damage and the company should have contacted us back. I wanted to say good things about them too. Ask them for additional help and they will above and beyond. They have a good positive attitude and they just want to help. Good company that we love but this time was different.
Bryant and Monte did a great job at moving myself and my partner out of our 6th floor apartment! They were very professional and a great source of entertainment as well. :) I loved their banter and they really did manage to make the process fly by! Thanks a lot to them. 10/10
Had a great move with them. The crew was very professional and definitely knew what they were doing. Everything they did had a purpose and nothing was done haphazardly. It was also impressive to see their adherence to safety, they were always communicating with each other and making sure no one was over exerting themselves. Definitely will use this team again, if I ever need to move in the future.
This is my second time using WVM and I am even more impressed with their professionalism, timely response, customer service, and motivation. I was moving across the country with my boyfriend and we had furniture in a storage unit and a family garage in Sandy that we were moving to SW Portland. From the first phone call to Jacob to the moving crew that showed up we felt taken care of. Jacob was the dispatcher and he coordinated the crew and the pickups, without a hitch. Michael was the lead and he and the crew took care of everything for us. It was stress free and honestly saved us time, stress and money. From protecting our furniture, excellent communication and setting up our space it was hassle free. It was well worth the cost and we would recommend to anyone.
