We made an interstate moving reservation, then called a couple weeks before to confirm morning pickup. The day before the move, they acted like we never mentioned morning pickup (though we clarified when making the reservation and a reminder call). They never confirmed a time/date and every call I made went unanswered by Tonya. They completely disregarded "fragile" or arrows, throwing boxes around. I wasn't surprised when plates/mugs were broken and the couch was ripped. Also, they said our things would arrive within 7 days of the move and when we tried to get an estimate they never responded until the 7th day- the delivery would be on the 9th day after pickup. Then they increased the charge because the elevator was further then they thought it would be from our apartment. I would not recommend this moving company, extremely awful customer service.

The actual movers worked very hard, we had a couple pieces of furniture with minor damage. During the move they put a melon sized hole in our wall, their resolution, was to take $25 off the billl or that they could have a repair man come out in 2-3 months. Neither of these were acceptable options, I advised I wouldn’t pay my bill until it was repaired. That led to them getting someone out the following week. We paid our bill the day after the invoice was received, they continue to follow up for it. Each time I let them know I paid it, the date, the check number...but it doesn’t get closed out in their system. Given the opportunity to do the right thing, they don’t. When’s forced to do the right thing they do. But be prepared for any issue to be a struggle with them. Despite the actual movers working hard, I can’t recommend them.
The management is who I have a problem with. They were not transparent with their billing policies and make verbal offers over the phone without disclosing how much you will be billed at the minimum. They had no paperwork sent to me so that I could see their billing practices. I should have known better than to trust a business after just speaking on the phone. But I think they do this so they don't have to disclose some jobs to the IRS. The moving guys were nice and efficient but the management is shady. I would not trust these people who do business like this.
With multiple family members involved in moving Moms stuff from NH to Florida , and Mom in Florida already.....yikes! But Laura and Shaun never lost patience with my constant changes right up to and on moving day. And i’m one of those people who can find fault with any company (comes from being self-employed for 40 years...) , yet i can not complain about anything! They went out of their way to find solutions to my last minute changes and were upfront about any cost increases. Even the moving guys called me directly to get further instructions (i am in Florida as well) and sent videos to verify what i wanted moved etc. Outstanding service! I highly recommend Diggins & Rose. UPDATE: upon arrival in Florida we found we paid an extra $1500 for a container that had three small objects in it (after being told there was no room in the containers to send down some family heirlooms!). In addition my mothers Braided rug that she’s had for years arrived basically destroyed and unfixable. Attempting to contact the owner/manager of Diggins & Rose he would not talk to me or respond to me. So we’re stuck with an unfixable expensive braided rug, paid an extra $1500 for a container that had almost nothing in it and Mom lost some very important family heirlooms because they said there was no room. STAY AWAY from Diggins & Rose! (I am leaving my original post because what I said was true. However the fact that the movers on site actually communicated with me and still didn’t pack her family heirlooms makes the situation even worse)
